form my bedroom/Page-A

My taste in movies leans to casual or ordinary stories; one that captured my heart and mind is "Smoke" with Harvey Keitel and William Hurt, a heartful story based in Brooklyn. Keitel, playing a lead role, takes a picture of the same street corner every morning, whispering "Brooklyn is my town." I was in N.Y. about ten years ago and can still recall the Brooklyn atmosphere. I really hated to leave.

By the way, this is Japan --Far East-- and I am still alive in Tokyo. My inner voice is whispering to me "You just don't know when to give up, do you?". I view a street corner through the window of my bedroom every morning, too. A day in my life begins by looking at that same corner every day.

01/Jan/1997 A happy new year to everyone. A man takes a dog for a walk. No matter how you look at it, he's not a potential risk and is probably not even a spy.

01/Apr/1997 It is not hot or cold. A chauffeur is waiting for an important person under beautiful cherry blossoms. His car is made in Japan with no car phone.

01/May/1997 Cherry blossoms came and went before we knew it. But we will soon have the pleasure of eating fresh tomatoes.
